version 0.2.8 "writhing monk"
this version took a little while as some fundamental systems got messed with, and the ensuing bugs had to be found
Added full keyboard control to the inventory, powers menu, and the character creation screen -- for inventory and powers, using tab / space / any directional key will have a hopefully somewhat intuitive result (you can even hold down TAB to quickly cycle through options). The numbers 1,2,3 are generally used to pick from options (this is displayed)
Speed is now behaves universal -- this means other entities can act faster than you and take multiple turns -- basically, "game speed" is no longer limited to the speed of the player
"Game Speed" (the rate at which events tick and the "on game turn" event occurs" is now 5 (down from 10) -- players in general will feel "faster"
Speed now has a "minimum" determined by either Strength or natural speed (DEX + base), whichever is lower -- Speed cannot be reduced below this minimum
Reworked the effects of more items to make them "whackier" -- more to come
Added enemies, Moroid Knight and Writhing Monk
Added "Sentry" to some enemies, triggers and attack if an enemy steps adjacent
Added "AOE" to some enemies / allies, gives them attacks on adjacent enemies after their initial attack (similar to the player using AOE weapons)
Added a powerful effect to the Gala class
Added the Priest class, who heals when applying effects
Reworked the Qamar culture to deal lines of astral damage when receiving effects (and to have natural Stasis reduction)
Reworked the Naqui's "Attunement" to scale per remaining duration -- this makes them VERY powerful in the early moments of the level
Added stuff to most of the Gods:
Ashem's final prayer now repeats for each duration of Grace
Humbaba's 2nd prayer now scales on Weapon Size
Ninhurs's 2nd Prayer can create Divine Grass, as can the giant serpent
Mehtar's 2nd prayer now applies Dream to you for each Dream you have, 3rd prayer does Ice and Psychic damage in a much larger area, Phantasms look different (again)
Dumuzi's Gilded Dead now inherit your Armor and Block
Eresh's 3rd prayer now scales off total # of allies
Dorok's 2nd prayer now does damage = your missing life, 3rd prayer performs extra attacks against adjacent enemies for each point of Inflexibility
Shortened the Void (UNTIL more powerful tiers are added -- it bothered me aesthetically that it was so long and only had the same few enemies. It will go back to being lenghtened when it is more diverse)
Some more things I probably forgot -- the dangers of waiting so long before posting an update :)
