version 0.4.4 "cave worm & brungle"


Last big patch before the early access steam version takes over

##Starting Culture/Class/Gods##

Qamar reworked to teleport on stand still, and deal lines of astral damage on teleport

Priest now sports a better-looking robe and a Crest

Druid reworked, now summons 2 Boars on entrance (power up when allies die), 3 Serpents on prayer, and 1 Fleshfly (5 hp, fast, Doom hit) on stand still

Ashem's Grace now also retaliates with 3 Astral damage on being attacked per duration

##Powers##

Parafrost reworked, now freezes you and heals on stand still (if enemies live), grants armor per duration of freeze, immunizes you to damage from freeze

Warrior of the mind changed to "on adjacent attack" - now applies 1 Repulsion per level

Electromancy now triggers on step instead of stand still

Blademaster removed, Focus reworked as "Technique" and also grants accuracy / extra attacks on initial attack (if two-handing)

Rampage reworked as "Barbarism," now grants bonus hit and armor for each empty armor slot

Assassin reworked as "Agility," now grants extra attacks on dodge

Vinakinesis now also applies entangle on-hit

##Prestige Classes##

Executioner now works correctly (only two-handing, gives armor) and now requires adjacent attack for bonus damage TEST THIS

Some cosmetic updates

Rat Crown changed to Rat Banner (to be in line with other summoning "weapons")

The poison / blood knives now deal scaling damage based on associated effect duration on target

Blight gauntlets are now like emerald / bone -> applies Doom on >50 physical damage

Mindsaber is now AoE

##Enemies##

Continuous summoners changed to summoning a bunch of allies on entrance (Moroid Zealots, Astropedes, Red Imps) as the constant summoning could still cause a locked game state, will eventually find a better solution

*A lot of these enemies are bosses, paired with an accompanying "minion" that will appear as an enemy in the next tier, similar to the Burrow King / Rat-Man Phalangite, I like the semi-narrative continuity of this

Agarithum / Agarites / Violet Demons have a new "Absorb Time" trait

Tupilaq has "Crushing Frost"

Keliot has the Vile Staff ability

##General##

Willpower now adds a 1% chance per game turn to remove each negative effect from you

Normalized special Hits (such as from Magus, Pugilism, Guard etc) to always use main-hand

Normalized "Extra attacks" to always use main-hand, added text in relevant traits

Corrosion now removes more Block, and no longer lowers Hit

Ocean tiles on the world map are now only visible behind you

Added a title background and poem generator

Tried to make the hotkey indicators more obvious (1: -> [1])

Death screen now lists equipment names / power names + levels

##Usability##

Player attributes can now be viewed on mouse-over, like all other units

Off-hand weapons now have their icon held in the other hand

"Enemies at hand" text should now appear above inventory popups

Alt-tabbing and shift-tabbing (for steam / changing windows) should no longer trigger the TAB auto-move actions

"Restore Defaults" removed (this is only something that is really useful when more involved settings are added, like key rebinding)
