As long as you can immediately heal, keep life minimal. This minimizes how much you need to invest in healing. Gala prevents being ista-killed on first hit taken. Not sure Healer is the best class. Was insta-killing levels after mid-game. Astrostoicism was level 4 until last couple dungeons. I think that allowed me to two-shot final boss. Otherwise Master Repulsion buffs astral/psychic damage plenty for the grunts.
No, this one is a bit slower. When ally attacks/attacked, you deal increasing damage. Overgrowth makes allies into tanks. With the bird mask you do start to cascade damage.
Well, this is about the best I can do with Master Freeze. I basically filled out all of the other skills first, and any other armor buff would have been better. Frost guard would be better as almost anything else, but I don't think I could spend very many points in it anyways. I still would like to see Master Freeze buffed, or some culture/class/religion that synergizes with it.
Ice Armor is pointless, even with high str/dex you can't get enough to defend against late game enemies. Great game tho, plz don't take offense. Obviously I have played the shit out of it.
Final boss almost killed me. Nothing else came close. Seeing how doom armor easily gets you 10-20k armor, I would like to see the ice armor buffed a bit. I haven't been able to use that effectively late game.
Cobras are good early, and even mid game. They are tough so they hold ground in front of you. Master Doom is pretty OP as long as you don't get one-shotted. Gore Tide was only used once. Armor and weapons was pretty useless since I didn't go with the inflexibility removal in the melee tree. Did not find the ice spear. That thing is sick with 20k armor lol. Not sure how much the psychic hat really helped since I was death-blasting the shit out of anything that attacked me, then teleporting them away if they lived.
36.4 Million Damage!!! This is the King. The fire gloves were strictly for the look, and Ice-Armor was completely unnecessary. ALL of my damage taken was self-inflicted. Killing my own flies and sprouts gave constant supply of cadavers. Don't add to the Channel death skill; it is unnecessary and kills even dead with 90% resist too fast, but didn't cause any real problems. After critical mass, everything died as soon as it killed one of my crew.
Keep working it out, bro. Think about late game damage, both giving and taking. You can cruise through for a while, but bosses will expose any weakness. Look at how skills and equipment synergize. With fire healing you need lots of attacks/hits to replenish HP when taking big hits. I don't like order of flame because you lose it when you get hit.
It only took me about a hundred tries to get this build to work. The key was to focus on killing first, then go to fire-shield, then astrostoicism late game for mega-damage. Repulsion was useless. Nearly perfect stand-still build.
Super OP. BTW I am sad that you nerfed the Death Knight. It might be too OP in the lower cycles, but I was challenged to make it work on 12th cycle as-was.
Once I hit critical mass, about 2/3 thru the first section, I never took damage. Later I almost died to one of those demons that deals damage in a line.
This is probably the oddest build I've made, but it's actually surprisingly extremely powerful:Personal offensive power, range, armor, block, healing, buffing, debuffing, hordes of summons, this guy's got it all. By the end, I was flooding almost the entire floor with my summons, taking almost no damage (thanks to Barbarism), instantly healing what little damage I did take, freezing every enemy who came anywhere within four squares of me, blasting everything across the floor with Astral/Ice/Fire damage every time I stood still or attacked. No idea how well it would work on earlier cycles (in particular the first one), but this got me through cycle eleven no problem.
...nevermind, still going, this game is way too addicting. Incidentally, for the fifth cycle... I managed to beat the final boss and all of his minions with just two attacks. Psiblade Pugilist Psychonaut wearing a Robe of Dreams is... absurd. Not even just absurdly powerful, though it is, it's... I attack one enemy, and then I am teleport spamming all over the map, throwing around Psychic/Astral beams all over the place until whatever I hit is dead. Seriously, try it if you can, it's hilarious. King of Many Colors is impressive for needing to be hit a second time before dying, though even that is just because the many Demons he started the "battle" with redirected a bunch of attacks away from him on the first hit.
So this has happened on floor entrance 3 times, in 2 different summoner runs. There was no chance of survival the first it happened (entered floor, surrounded by 20+ Slaughs with no tile to move, none of my summons were even on the screen).
Happened twice in a row with the above character (I was obviously able to survive with Ninhurs poison and serpent). Really seems like something that should not happen, considering player summons spawn on closest adjacent tile to the player on entrance to every floor but the 3 I mentioned here.
yeah it's been an ongoing problem. Normal enemies have a two tile minimum distance but when they have "on entrance" summons, the summons can start right next to you, which obviously show up before any of yours can activate -- especially a problem in tight terrains like forests and green stars

I think this build could be improved

THICC BAT
Good job bro
Ghost Recon
Final Boss was competitive. Had to heal and hope a couple times.
The Ice Man Cometh

He Got Lucky
Last area was cramped and I couldn't get my doom armor up quick enough. I was one-shotting anything that touched me.
Killed Boss in One Turn

OMFG Didn't Even Attack the Boss
Void Cuirass is OP vs high HP foes. The dumbass tried to shoot me. His mistake lol.
One-Shotted Final Boss LOL
Two Shotted Final Boss
WHYYYYYY I WAS ON THE LAST STAGE

Master Blaster
Keliot and the Acroserpents are terrifying O_O
Kull Lightning is very fun to watch
One-shotted almost everything

Thanks for the new builds. I been wanting good summon/necro options.
Garden of Death

Glory: successfuly reclined in.
(Twelfth Cycle of Glory is the final cycle, for anyone who didn't know)

Samnite+Lochra+Templar+Zazdaka claw, this is how I will finally beat loop 2 again
Do you have any plans to put your full early access version up here? I’d love to buy it, but I don’t support Steam.
looks really strong on paper.
anyone with suggestions?
SSSSSSHh:
