Poison robe/Poison Staff synergy with Evasion for first dozen or so dungeons. Saw that my Block was getting ridiculous and grabbed Icy Spear which damages off Block. Was one-shotting every monster for last ten dungeons except for a few bosses which took three or four attack salvos. The helm does 300% main hit astral damage on attack per empty slot. I should have taken off the gloves. KOMC went down to one attack salvo. This build is not worth it if you can not good weapon or two on first dungeon, but you can switch if you find better in the mid-game. It takes time to build up weapon upgrades and full-prayer buff.
It keeps upgrading your weapons as long as you keep no powers and maxes health/clears curses on level-up. Towards the end you can go ahead and use all your unspent power points. I'm not sure how much damage you could boost up to like that but I'm pretty sure you could kill KOMC on first hit, even without minion-cheesing. I kept it at no powers to see what would happen. No doubt you could focus strength instead of dexterity and have OP armor and obscene hit/acc.
1.5M damage at the end. Only took me about 50 attempts to get this build. Wanted to do a dragon build with no minions or basically just an established OP build with added dragon. Ogham gives prayer on init attack. Crystal form triggers on prayer but so does dragon form, dragon form remains and adds crystal form stacks. Priest gives increasing gains on dragon/crystal stacks because when it switches back and forth the +50% applies to the switch. Needed speed and healing first, then dragon form starts to kick in for OP armor/block/damage.
Hey, sorry to bother, I was playing demo from steam and enjoying it a lot, then I bought the full thing and my progress is lost, altough I recall seeing somewhere that the progress from demo would be carried. What can I do to fix that? I’m using Linux if that matters. Thanks
When us web players are still waiting for the web update, or is it that it's just not going to happen? Not trying to sound rude or anything, just asking.
Humbaba + Master Bleed + Psychic Retort is OP. Use Master Bleed to convert into Blood Rage. You will insta-heal when being hit after building a few prayers worth of Blood Rage.
Damnit...Thought I was finally was gonna beat first cycle, but I guess I got a little overconfident, and died in the second to last room :'( (This build was heavily inspired by GlitchLuke's 'Molten Reaper')
A lot of it comes down to dealing with strong, late game monsters. Basic strategies are:
1. Have multiple defenses with damage that scales off those defenses.
2. Have massive speed, killing monsters before they can attack.
3. Have counter attack, combined with quick healing.
4. Hide behind summons while you scale up power.
Plan on how to quickly build up killing power. Meditate is good, but it's hard to build it up fast without hiding behind summons and/or slowing enemies (freeze, paralyze). Charge is great, and you can build up speed with killing power. In Flame works well with melee builds, and synergizes with several equip pieces. Repulsion can build power and potentially all three defenses.
Some of those builds don't apply the same now, because of changes and updates. The principle is the same. It's basically a math puzzle, with a little skill and luck. I have obviously cracked out on this game a bit. Enjoy your journey. I look forward to seeing your posted builds.

If You Attack Me You Will Die
7.5M Death Damage on being attacked. I still think it may be possible to one-shot KOMC.
One Shot?
4.3M damage. Still did not one-shot KOMC.

Vampire
Three skills, no specialization.
Hurry Up and Wait
25K speed, 250K dodge
Dub Step
35K top speed on final level. Poise and Vampire Form go into speed. Speed goes to damage and dodge. Stand-still, step or direct attack.
Crow
Hit prayer once on final level.
Thorn in the Flesh
2 million damage
The Struggler is bugged. Eventually you will get hit and go into a near infinite loop of counter-attacks, even with no enemies.
Blood Type
Fast and Furious
Unkillable
Any chances for a full release on itch.io? Really looking forward to v1.4.2, and I'd pay for that here. ^^

Oh crap I just remembered I’ve removed demo before launching the full thing, and there is obviously no cloud save. Damn, how can I be that stupid 😅

If anyone has any tips or tricks that might help me, I'm really struggling with first cycle
Any help is appreciated :)
so with what you have, I'd go pyromaniac, and try to get the flame scythe, it'd be described as a glittering orange blade
Yeah I was looking but never found one in that run
I did manage to beat first cycle with a psiblade build shortly after this though!
Something like this works well

Thank you!

I'm still trying to figure this game out, but it has such a charm in its simplicity, I really like it.
Centurion
Zephyr
3800+ speed, 38k+ dodge. No worries.
